In addition, due to the different corrosion principles of materials, although the aluminum radiator has strong anti-oxidation corrosion ability, it is prone to alkali corrosion and chloride ion corrosion. Therefore, when the water quality of a heating system is alkaline (pH value is higher than 8), or the chloride ion content is high (salt content is large), the radiator will have the potential of corrosion and water leakage.


Mistake 2: heating water leakage is the problem of radiator

Mistake 3: product wall thickness (or no weld or smooth inner wall) is not afraid of corrosion

Cast iron radiator is not easy to be damaged by corrosion because of its good anti-oxidation performance, not because of the wall thickness. In recent years, some small domestic manufacturers try to increase the wall thickness to solve the anti-corrosion problem of steel radiators, which is wrong. Because the corrosion of steel radiator is local corrosion of small holes, not uniform corrosion. If according to their theory, if the 1.3mm steel plate is corroded and perforated in three years, then the 2.0mm steel plate will certainly be corroded and perforated in five years, which is also far from meeting the user's requirements for radiator life. In addition, some radiator manufacturers in the market are vigorously promoting their radiator products "no weld, clean and smooth inner cavity" and so on. In fact, it can not play a role in the anti-corrosion of radiator. Because the corrosion of steel radiator is not on the weld, because the corrosion of steel radiator is oxygen corrosion, so "no weld or smooth inner cavity does not mean no corrosion".
